Well, this is what we ended up having, but...... No picture. I have a great story to go with this one though as to a reason why. So in the midst of unloading the dishwasher this night while preheating the oven for dinner, I knocked a wine glass off of a shelf in an upper cabinet as I was putting away a clean bowl... it somehow managed to break as it fell against a lower shelf and the stem, landed on (in?) the top of my hand. As I'm sure you can imagine. It wasn't pretty. I will spare you the details, other than - I'm fine, it's healing, and I'm one wine glass short!!
After that whole ordeal, hand cut, broken glass everywhere, and dinner being about 30 minutes behind after dealing with all of that... I was a bit distracted and remembering to get pictures went out the window! At least I'll have a cool scar as a souvenir! This is a meal that we make fairly often and I already have an older video of it on YouTube, so I'll share that here instead!

Coming up next week
I will be following up on some of the meals in videos and recipes here on the blog! Also, we started doing some preliminary runs for our "Beauty and the Beast" meal we be having for the movie release celebration! The girls had a fun time helping me make and test the "Grey Stuff" and we came up with our own quick serve recipe for small groups! I will be sharing that as a part of our Beauty and the Beast post series!
Thanks for stopping by this week!

I think I have asked you this before but I forget! So I am sorry if I did but what cut of meat do you use for your Italian Beef?
ReplyDeleteI find that most of the roasts will work, I just try to find one that is as close to the size I need and isn't extremely fatty. I'm pretty sure this week it was a Top Round Roast, I tried to check the label on the pics I took for the recipe posts, but the name was on the other side of the packaging, that's my guess though! :)
DeleteThank you!!!
DeleteWould you mind sharing your Mongolian beef recipe? We love making the Italian beef!
